You have been posting your photos on fishing.net.nz for years now. We think it is time for some of you to show us what goes on before the ‘grin, click and flash’.
WxC and Fishing.net.nz are teaming up to invite subscribers to post videos of your adventures over the summer and to give you a bit of encouragement, we decided to run a little contest.
here are some of the cool videos uploaded so far.
Your video does not need to be of broadcast quality. Shoot it from your camcorder, mobile phone or even put together and animate a photo montage of your meritorious capture, funny fishing incident or ‘biggun that got away’ sob story. After entries close on January 30th, your submissions will be judged and the winners will receive one of three flip video HD video recorders. These suckers are really cool. The quality is amazing and they are the size of a mobile phone. They are so easy to use that even Grunta can operate them. You just point and push the button. Then when you get home it plugs right into your PC and you can down load up to 60 minutes of recorded video directly to your PC, Mac, email or the Internet. Check them out on http://www.theflip.com/en-au/
The judges for the contest will be:
John Eichelsheim- Former NZ Fisherman editor, Former NZ Fishing News Deputy and Author
Mark Kitteridge- Deputy Editor Fishing News and Author
Adam Clancy- Author, Presenter and Producer of Fishing NZ
These guys have done a bit of fishing in their time and for the most part, they have a great sense of humour and appreciate watching other folks catch fish and break things.
Once the winners of the flip video HD units have been selected, they will have one month to use their new toys to put together another video of up to 10 minutes and the grand prize winner will receive a full year’s subscription to our Xnet Fusion package assuming that they live in an area that supports our Xnet Broadband service. With a Xnet Fusion line, you can keep your phone number, get rid of your telephone line and run your voice and internet services on a single line. www.xnet.co.nz/fusion
